I believe that kindness and good manners are a sign of inner strength rather than a sign of weakness as today's generation seem to believe.

When i meet a person who has good manners I remember them as a person of quality, one who has empathy and thoughtfulness.

I was in a shop today, I stood and waited whilst an elderly couple filled the trolly at the checkout- they took so long! But, the elderly gentleman realised the time they were taking and apologised to the other people in the que- what a delight it was to hear such lovely manners- what a lovely man!

Society is most definately to blame for so many problems today; as we become busier and more materialistic we lose the time that we should have to live our lives for ourselves and our children. This leaves us with stress and no time for manners or time to teach manners to our children.
